EXAKT 340 CP Rotary System

The EXAKT 340 CP Rotary System is the original "contact point" device. Originally designed to section specimens with large, very hard metal components, this unit is now a multi-purpose device. It can be outfitted with a rotary cutting tool for cutting or with a shaped grinding tool for precision form grinding small samples.

The "contact point" technology when used in a rotary method has an added feature. Because of the reduced force and thus reduced stress on the surface of a component (especially metal), the surface quality of the cut surface is much higher than with more standard cutting methods. There are minimal or no mechanical/metallurgical changes in the sample.
